Copper Phosphorus Alloys
A low cost Copper based alloy containing Phosphorus.
The Phosphorus content serves as a “self-fluxing” agent in Copper to Copper joints.
When brazing Brass to Copper or Brass to Brass, base metals should be fluxed to assure an appropriate braze joint.
Widely used in the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industries. Unsuitable for ferrous and Nickel based metals.
Available in rod, wire and ring.
